LIUMEP offers students various academic programs designed to enrich the lives of children by empowering educational competencies, encouraging positive self-esteem, pride, and growth in all extra curricular areas. LIUMEP seeks to promote life-long learners and productive citizens of the world community. Most recently The A.R.K. Foundation provided funding for LIUMEP's summer school programming.
Ten 4,000 dollar scholarships will be given to students who plan on starting school in the fall of 2013. Scholarships will be given to students based on Essay Response and Financial Need. There are no age or citizenship restrictions, priority will be given to students who have participated in the LIU 12 Migrant or 21st Century programs.
Bottom Line helps low-income and first-generation-to-college students get to and through college. Bottom Line staff are committed to building strong connections with students, providing them with individual support, and ensuring they have the guidance they need to persist and earn a college degree.
